Jan 29, 2012 - This is a decent case, It's nice if you use the automatic speaker phone by setting the phone face down, it doesn't actually lay on its screen.

Jan 6, 2012 - If available in your area, check out the Seidio Active case or Otterbox Commuter. You want a case that can breathe easily and those 2 are pretty durable yet just a tad loose fitting to allow your phone not to be constricted. The Monaco Metal cases regulate temperature poorly due to their aluminum design. So they get hot and cold fast unfortunately - something typically not good for phones.

Jan 6, 2012 - The reason I'm looking into a metal case is HEAT. I don't want my phone overheating because I'm trying to protect it. I'm in South Australia, too, so when it's hot it gets over 40 C What do you recommend by these means? I want it to survive if dropped but not cook itself. Please and thankyou

Oct 4, 2011 - Decent - it's an equivalent of a thick plastic case you would commonly find in the "mid-range". The metal is actually quite thin and is more of a stylish accessory than a fully protective one.

Oct 4, 2011 - how well does this case protect against impact when dropping the phone?
