I admit saying the 80's was an exaggeration, but this case does look like the old leather, and snakeskin cases used on the late 90's model nokias. As for preference for a specific brand, I have none. I would never go leather, or above $30, but if I were so inclined, I would choose something a little more pleasing to the eye.

Nov 15, 2011 - that case would look awesome with the kind of clothing i wear but i really don't like that it's useless for drop protection. i think they could have designed it a little differently to offer more protection to that exposed corner. otherwise that's a slick case. think i might swipe the design and make my own.

I work at the hotel and it happens all the time to hotel door keys and heard that placing Credit Card against the phone could cause CC to malfunction as well.
