Sep 19, 2011 - Actually I work for one of these plants in the US and the process is amazing. The treatment to meet customer specifications demands a lot of knowledge and concentration because if you want to reduce costs you have to control temperature and consume constantly... IT'S AWESOME!!!

Jul 13, 2011 - That is not correct, these buildings operate under a negative pressure and all the air is filtered through sophisticated bag houses to capture and purify as much airborne pollutants as possible. I have visited this plant and its truly amazing, everything is recycled including the acid which is recaptured and used for laundry detergent additives and converted to sodium salts, and the plastics too.
