May 22, 2012 - Don Ross has written many of his songs in standard tuning, some that are extremely heartfelt and inspiring, but obviously you don't know anything about Don Ross. And this song is in CGCGCC dipshit, and there is no way you would ever be able to dream up something as complex and great sounding as this song in your wildest dreams. Why don't you sit down and let the real guitarist play his song, ok? Ok.

May 20, 2012 - This is a legendary performance right here. Bravo!

May 19, 2012 - Nice song in Drop D by the way, nice original bassline that no high school wanker could have come up with...

JackTnf Says:

May 19, 2012 - Wow, you sound so cool.

JamesPaterson2395 Says:

May 19, 2012 - You do know "standard tuning" has not been round very long. Open tunings have been round forever. Stop trying to sound smart with the mixolydian shit, its not a scale degree its a mode of the major scale. Fool.

May 9, 2012 - Ye this guy clearly has very little talent because of the tune that he sets his guitar lol. Nice claim by the comment below. NOT

TheAuralAffinity Says:

May 8, 2012 - Us veteran guitarists call guys like this Dropped D wankers. They play everything open so they can jam over an open Mixolydian scale degree. Would love to hear these solo acoustic guys write a song in Standard tuning and play so free. Back in high school the wankers were always in Drop D, that's why it was hard to listen. Bar chords are overrated. Listen to Phil Kaegey.

RattAndMouse Says:

May 1, 2012 - I can make a text file with all the different chord shapes that are used in the main part of this song if you want. I dont feel like accurately tabbing the whole song though

Apr 27, 2012 - No, not really.. however there's a Michael Hedges tune that is not far off. tune up the bottom 3 and you have "Ritual Dance". I wrote a couple of riffs in CGCGCC also; it's a cool tuning!

Apr 12, 2012 - I stand corrected (I know this is months late. I don't check my inbox very often.)

RattAndMouse Says:

Apr 5, 2012 - I love this song and I like playing it and trying to learn all the nuances, it would just be nice to know a few songs also in that tuning that I can practice in a few days or so :D maybe I'll have to be the one to write them ;)

fredrikmalmfors Says:

Apr 3, 2012 - Too tired to tune it back again? haha :D

RattAndMouse Says:

Mar 26, 2012 - does anybody any other songs that are also in CGCGCC tuning?

hamish89melrose Says:

Feb 28, 2012 - err this is a different style of music than hendrix and to be honest, I can play all the hendrix tracks (badly) but I really struggle with Dan Ross tracks. Classical guitar is VERY Hard and totally different to the Hendrix rock... on a little side note; I do miss dans hair!

MrDareday Says:

Feb 18, 2012 - well altho i admire and respect him as musician, and also find him inspiring, i can see you surelly havent heard bout jimmi hendrix.
