Nov 26, 2011 - That's a tough question. We really think it comes down to the belt clip. If you really need that, then the Defender is a much better choice as it has a superior belt clip. Otherwise the Kraken II is designed a little better in terms of overall utility and feel.

Oct 1, 2011 - Check out the Ballistic SG (Shell Gel) case for the Incredible 2. It's a cross between the Commuter & Defender in terms of size. You can try out the Commuter if you're really insistent on it, but we would advise against it.

Oct 1, 2011 - Get the Defender. The Commuter was made for every-day usage and will not withstand extremes such as sharp rocks. You may also wish to look into the Otterbox 2000 universal case to supplement the Defender or other gear you may have to carry, as that is a submersible / air tight case. The Defender doesn't fit into pockets easily, but it simply depends on the pant pocket in question.
