May 11, 2012 - Only $20... No big deal.

Dec 20, 2011 - What a fucking useless POS. Wireless charging? LOL. So why do you need to plug that into your wall. Why can they make an adapter so you can change different type of phones/plugs and have a flat receiver to work with many other products instead of the stupid shape that come with only one particular phone. What a fucking ripoff. "Super conenient'? Is that a fucking joke? You must be a tool to buy this garbage.

Dec 4, 2011 - Constantly plugging and unplugging the phone wears out the port. I bought one of these when my port was damaged but had to return it when I realized that the port had to be utilized.

Aug 10, 2011 - how much did you pay for this

Aug 8, 2011 - i imagine this wouldn't work with a case on the phone? as cool as this technology is, i'd rather have a case to protect my device.

nikkachu227 Says:

Jul 19, 2011 - I actually got this for free with my Evo purchase. I never use it though cuz I can't use the phone while charging!

Jun 11, 2011 - the lights of the mat they go on but my phone is not charging

palmbeachsavage Says:

May 27, 2011 - Load of crap, the lights will come on like its charging with or without the case but takes all night for a full charge, love the idea but this is a waste if time, n whoever said we're to lazy n thats y we use this is wrong ,people are tired of having chargers that has wires that always brake. If you want something that works don't buy this

bobby12885 Says:

May 18, 2011 - Try turning off Ur mobile internet only have it on when u are using it I have battery life all day

SmartKeitai Says:

May 1, 2011 - Unfortunately, this is the only cover they have for the EVO, so you would have to switch back to the stock battery...

gretcheng2406 Says:

May 1, 2011 - I've been waiting for this! Although, I purchased an extended 3500mah battery and of course now my phone is way thicker with it, would they have a PM cover to accommodate the larger battery? Or would I have to switch back to my old batter which doesn't even last me half a day -.-

SmartKeitai Says:

Apr 15, 2011 - Not sure you see it from my point of you view since it sounds like you frequently carry one wherever you go. Not everybody does that. Most people I know leave them at home & have a car charger "just in case." And like I said, the nub is like a cap - can be pulled off to access the port - it's not like you have to take the battery cover off. I bought PM because I charge at home or in the same office 98% of the time. For people like me, it really is about going wire-free (convenience).

SmartKeitai Says:

Apr 14, 2011 - Have 2 mats, home & work. That's all i need most days. For times when I need to charge in my car, I easily remove the nub and use the car charger. The "lazy" argument doesn't do it for me. It can be said about many things that we use. When your future phone has it built in, I think you will see the value of its convenience. That will be more seamless though. Current implementation may not work for you, but doesn't mean others don't find it useful - and it's not because we're lazy :)

Sleek310 Says:

Apr 14, 2011 - Unless u work at home and never need to charge your phone anywhere else It's just laziness...charging twice a day is annoying to you? I hit my charger way more than that with no problem and I just dont see the convenience if you don't always charge in one location, but all your arguments in favor of the power pad point to laziness

SmartKeitai Says:

Apr 13, 2011 - My phone's battery is never low thanks to the convenience of quickly dropping it on the "coaster." With the wired charger I tend to put it off, so battery gets low. This type of wireless charging is the future for smartphones. It's already happening. And when phone manufacturers get involved, it will be less obtrusive, but the concept is still the same. I bet nobody would complain if it came built-in. My opinion, of course.

SmartKeitai Says:

Apr 13, 2011 - They're completely different concepts to me. You only plug the pad in once and you never have to worry about the wire again - just drop the phone on the pad and pick it up when you're on the move (quick and convenient). With the regular wired charger you have to to pick the plug up (likely from the floor), figure out which way is up, and finally plug it in. That's not rocket science, but doing it twice a day for years is annoying.

Sleek310 Says:

Apr 13, 2011 - @SmartKeitai I actually kinda get the point that @davidloveco was making...if you have to plug the device up I really don't see the point either other than it's neat technology but yeah if you can plug that device up...why not your phone...I can understand the convenience to a degree however it's a simple plugging in of the phone so all you've really done is eliminated the plugging in part and with it the flexible convenience of the charger

SmartKeitai Says:

Mar 13, 2011 - Your situation may be different from others. Months later and I'm still happy with it. Don't understand the whole lazy argument. It's about convenience for some people, and there's a difference. I'm in/out of my office every day, so it's nice to be able to throw the phone down, get a quick charge while working, and then quickly pick it up when I need to leave the room. My phone is effortlessly never low on battery because of this. Power users need more than 1 charge btw ;)

davidloveco Says:

Mar 13, 2011 - whats wrong with just plugging it in again? Its not like you can hold it or that it adds any extra flexibility. Are people so lazy they can't just plug the phone in once per day or every other day? I JUST DON'T GET THE APPEAL GIVEN ALL THE DRAWBACKS!!! LOL

SmartKeitai Says:

Mar 6, 2011 - Yeah, it doesn't work with a case... that's probably the biggest negative that people note.
