May 18, 2012 - Both our Pelican cases and Pelican Storm cases are equally durable for protecting your gear. However, our Storm cases feature slightly different latches than our Pelican cases. The Storm cases feature a push and pull type latch, as opposed to our patented Double-Throw latches seen on our Pelican cases. This is helpful for those who may be lacking strength and dexterity in their hands. Best, Pelican Products

May 4, 2012 - What's better, a Pelican case or a Pelican Storm case? I know they're both made by Pelican now, but what's the difference between the two (other than the Pelican has stainless steel around the hasp?) Also, why don't you put stainless steel on the hasp of the Storm & Hardigg?

Apr 30, 2012 - Because... My father is the one who makes all the purchases for this company ( Pest Control Company on the West Coast ) and if your product does this then I am SURE he would like a few hundred of them for out computers we carry around. I will look it up with what you referended. Thanks!

Apr 30, 2012 - Wonderful! Thanks for the info... When I was referring to real life scenarios I was saying that because I used to work for a pest control company. We use lots of hand held computers now ( being close with the EPA and all ) and there has been more then one person whom has left his on the "box" of the truck which is the box we add to put our chemicals inside. It will usually slide off in a corner and someone will always run over it. This is why I ask, also because . ( continued in new comment )

Apr 30, 2012 - There's a nice review of our i1015 Micro Case from @cutlerylover. In it he conducts a few destruction tests, one being a "road" test. Do a search for "Pelican i1015 Hard Case Destruction Test" and you'll find it.

Feb 22, 2012 - What if i lose the keys :S How do i open it then? Cause i cant break the case :S
lilbro209 Says:
Feb 13, 2012 - Can you guys drive over it at normal in town speeds like around 35-45mph. Also can you do it with no "ramp" or anything else leading up to the case. Most of the time when you end up with something in the road it's because you either left it on a tailgate or on top of the car and drive off, then someone else will drive over it before they are able to avoid. I know this from experience and I was really thinking this would be a real life scenario test.

Feb 7, 2012 - 0:54 The plain wood pallet also passes/takes that test!

Jan 17, 2012 - 1- there were two in the case and one was in already (look again) 2- okay.... 3- you skipped one? 4- The shotgun is used to test high velocity impacts not supersonic impacts from an anti-tank round.

Jul 18, 2011 - I love my Pelican case, but I call BS 1 - He puts the vase in the right, but they smash the vase on the left. 2 - This is possible with anything, it depends on what's inside of the case. 4 - It's a shotgun not a rifle. We don't even see any shot damage to the outside.

Jul 16, 2011 - I bought a fairly large Pelican case years ago for storing and transporting a Swarovski spotting scope and tripod head. It works great and the toughness is among the reasons I bought it.
