Discover a better mobile experience with HTC Desire HD - the first Android 2.2 device from HTC. This breathtaking smartphone has a beautiful 4.3-inch display that's so incredibly crisp and clear. Suddenly everything's brighter, sharper and more fun.
With a powerful 1GHZ Qualcomm processor and the latest version of the Android operating system, HTC Desire HD runs incredibly fast and makes multitasking, gaming and web browsing really easy. Not only can you get online in less time, thanks to the 14.4Mbps HSPA + internet connection, you can also watch flash 10.1 videos and view the whole web as you would on your PC.
The HTC Desire HD has a brand new version of the HTC Sense interface, and its menus and home screens can be completely shaped around you. Using your smartphone is now even more fun and simple, as your friends' Facebook updates and Flickr photos appear right next to their texts, emails and tweets, so you never have to search around for info.
With Sense 2.0 you can do amazing things, like use the secure HTC web portal to forward all your calls and texts from your HTC Desire HD to another phone! The new Location Experience and built-in compass make it impossible to get lost, or to lose your phone. If you've misplaced your smartphone, simply visit the web portal on your PC. From there you can tell your phone to ring at its loudest, then follow the sound and retrieve it.
With its powerful 8 Megapixel autofocus camera and 720p HD video recorder, HTC Desire HD lets you capture perfect photos and HD movie clips to share with family and friends. The built-in compass gives you even clearer directions and captures your location even more precisely, and the newest version of Google Map supports turn-by-turn and voice guided navigation, so your phone becomes your camera, sat nav, web browser and MP3 player. HTC Desire HD - it's all you need to live your life in high definition.

Nov 12, 2010 - @Deviandful Wrong! A4 processor in iPhone 4 is same as in iPad, it's 1ghz. Apple hasn't ever actually confirmed that the A4 in iPhone 4 is running at 1ghz, and indeed may even be underclocked to conserve battery.

Nov 11, 2010 - i wish people would stop comparing every smart phone to the iphone.... ever phone has its ups and downs... i can buy an itouch for like £200 and a cheap phone to make calls with for £50... or i could spend £500 on an iphone....hmmm rip off? as for this phone, i love it. iv had no problems what so ever... i love the screen, and the camera quality... plus androids app shop is far superior to the iphone.... to me the iphone isnt even a contender.. its for people who have money and what to show off

Nov 10, 2010 - wow, wOW, WOW. hang on just there. That shows the phone in all it's glory. With just a handful of apps on it. Well there's a thing. I have over 20 apps on my android now and it just keeps crashing. The battery is less than useless and only a few apps are written to multi task . It's been back to the shop more hours than I have had it! Why do I not learn to listen. Stay with Apple and get a iP4. But one good thing. Ok two. Flash and reception!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nov 10, 2010 - The software is soo laggy, and that after a night of charging it. It constantly jolts and make the experience awkward. It gets worse when you add stuff like movies, songs and podcasts. what was the point of putting wonderful hd when the software completely lags out. the interface is not for the uninitiated. the phone is too big to hold with one hand. its not like a quick pick up, on the go phone, its a slow bulky mini pc. I have this but i want to return it.
