Feb 17, 2012 - I have kids that like to yank on chords...the 2 year old screwed up the wifes usb port so something like this will be perfect for us :0)

Nov 17, 2011 - I think a lot of people commenting here aren't seeing the big picture. Yeah, it is a nuisance right now to have a thicker cover and a charging pad to drag around but this is the initial phase. The vision is that the Qi receiver will be built right into the phone or into the battery pack thus eliminating a need for a cover. Secondly, the vision is that the Qi pad will be integrated into furniture so all ur coffee houses, airports, etc... will have it and u wont need a cord.

Nov 9, 2011 - lol, the palm touchstone was first and looks better. but yeah, it is a shame that HP were such idiots to just dump the palm stuff. oh well :(, we shall all suffer from their mishandling of palm.

Aug 10, 2011 - or you could just plug it in and not have an ugly energizer pad laying around that needs to be plugged in.

chonichon07 Says:

Jul 20, 2011 - I don't think it would be since our phone's battery goes in through the side and doesn't have a back battery door.

Jul 16, 2011 - What's the point of "wireless charging" if you can't bring your phone, you need to put it down right.

manny18pr Says:

Jul 16, 2011 - Is it available for HTC Desire HD, or the HTC Inspire 4G?

Rayz093 Says:

Jul 15, 2011 - available for other models? like SGS2

Jul 15, 2011 - Make it it thicker and increase the charging time... Grate

Hislakerluver Says:

Jul 15, 2011 - You might as well just buy two extended batteries

OneShotShooter500 Says:

Jul 15, 2011 - I'll wait until I can charge and hold my phone at the same time.....oh wait...the free charging cord....

Proto1215 Says:

Jul 15, 2011 - This cool and all but for the money, my extended battery is enough. I don't ever worry about charging anymore. I can easily get 2 full days(and some) with moderate to heavy use.

Jul 15, 2011 - -----> Phil! It's pronounced "Chee" not "Key". The company has clarified themselves!

gqlovalova Says:

Jul 14, 2011 - wow. well i hope the prices come down soon.

yomanPDC Says:

Jul 14, 2011 - I agree that they're overpriced! Even this Energizer mat is around $80 as far as I know which is quite expensive for what it offers...

gqlovalova Says:

Jul 14, 2011 - Yea true that. I personally would rather have the mat I'm just saying they are ridiculously overpriced right now therefore they are not worth buying. when i was first shopping around for one to charge my pre over a year ago, they wanted like $55-$80 for their inductive charger. I don't quite remember the exact price but i remember thinking i wouldn't pay more than $20 MAX. These inductive chargers are just cool accessories to have. buy one only if you have money to blow.

masterpsychosis Says:

Jul 14, 2011 - ya its neat but you cant talk on it unless you use speaker phone, or use phone to do whatever because its sitting on that big mat. Is it really worth having to leave your charging adaptor that came with you phone and just plugging it in and able to use it, hold it etc.. or paying a nice price for something like this. Everybody leaves their charging adaptor hooked up already anyway.

yomanPDC Says:

Jul 14, 2011 - Yeah, depends on the person's habits I guess, but some people ARE that lazy to plug in the phone in the normal charger! :p

gqlovalova Says:

Jul 14, 2011 - Really?????? your talking about something that takes less than 4 seconds to do. Are people that lazy? To be honest I know what you mean it, it is more convenient to use the mat but I have two chargers at home, one travel charger and a usb cord I keep in my car stereo. I rarely unplug my chargers so that's one less step... if you're the type who continuously unplugs your charger then this mat wouldn't be a good idea for you because plugging this mat in is more of an inconvenience...

iMissLayups Says:

Jul 14, 2011 - Pointless? The pad has to be plugged in = not wireless. Plus you can't hold the phone while it's charging.

hustlax Says:

Jul 14, 2011 - It's bleeping charging!

yomanPDC Says:

Jul 14, 2011 - Not really, to pulug it in using the normal charger you must take the charger, plug it in the wall socket, then in the phone... time wasted, while with the charging mat you plug it in, leave it like that forever and just put the phone on it when you need to charge it. Just drop it there... not much time wasted. :)

gqlovalova Says:

Jul 14, 2011 - I don't think they are popular because they aren't worth the price. You are sacrificing a cord for that huge charger block. The trade off is not that good. The good thing about using a cord is that if my battery is extremely low I can still use it without having to stop the charge...I would only buy one of those thing if I was the same price as the conventional chargers or if they had a ish connection on them to charge more devices

187UmKillaa Says:

Jul 14, 2011 - this is useless IMO. they should make it charging within a range. at least 5 meters, you must put it in that pad, then it wont hurt you to plug the charger :-)
