The dusky track is the toughest trail in new zealand its 7 days very hard steep terrain. Whilst walking two people were helicoptered off as one guy had a seizure. I had an infected foot had to take antibiotics fro a french gut and spent two days at lake maree hut a true challenge a real walk enjoy.
